Lexia,
We have purchased cabinets for a reno home from Seconds and Surplus and had just a handyman install. (Seconds gave me a referral for a countertop installer, they may be able to give you a referral for someone to do the cabinets, or try Home Advisor online referral service) Cabinets come fully assembled, are typically in stock, current in style, and competitively priced. Bring them your measurements and photo of current kitchen and they will help you plan out. Have also used them for counter top and floor/wall tile.
We also installed cabinets from Cliq Cabinets (online ordering, fabulous FREE design service when you give them your measurements) in our own home, ourselves with two strong teenage boys holding them up as they were fastened to the wall. Higher quality, so higher price, and take 4-6 weeks for delivery. Very happy with both options, would just depend on your budget and time frame.
Good luck!
Andrea (Joe's wife)
