    Hello Everyone,

    My name Wil and I am new to real estate investing. I was very excited when I heard about DFW REI Club on KRLD radio station and how you have real meetings every month about real estate strategies, important topics about the real estate business, how to grow your real estate business, and wealth of investors who have been doing the business for 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 + years successfully. My desire is learn the business and I've been told that I must surround myself with successfully people who are willing to teach, advise if I'm willing to be teachable and I am just that. I am willing to listen, be taught and learn if DFW REI Club will to be that teacher.  I'm currently a warehouse supervisor with Coca-Cola and I've been employed with Coca-cola for 31 years.  I've been married for 30 years and have 2 wonderful twin sons age 30 who've graduated from college and are living their own lives.  I plan to retire in 3-5 years and real estate investing has greatly peaked my interest after I retire.  I believe the time is now for me get started in real estate investing and I'm open to all of DFW REI Club (Family) for advice, ideas, suggestions, etc. I am planning to attend Saturday meeting 2/27/16 at 9am.  Hope to see you there.

    We are grateful to have you. sir. DFWREI has lots of great members and tons of knowledge to soak up. I think anyone on the forums, and there are too many that are more successful than I, would tell you to network, read, surround yourself, and attend meetings. Show the drive to be successful.       Welcome! Glad you were able to attend last week's meeting. Association plays such a vital role in our successes and failures. To stay on schedule with your retirement time table, you will need a game plan mapped out with specific goals to hold yourself to. Which part of the world of real estate investing appeals to you the most?

    Thanks Justin, Robin and Dwayne.  I believe I'm moving in the right direction with you guys and I know each of you will be a great help with your wisdom and knowledge in real estate.  And to answer your question Dwayne, I am primarily interested in real estate wholesaling and when I get the system down in wholesaling turn my attention to fix and flip. Looking forward to this new adventure in my life.
