I really do not like how the show incorrectly stereotypes us Texans as a bunch of redneck hicks. I hoped those things were just over-exaggerated to garner ratings though, and looks like I may have been correct. I met Donna Snow and some other members of the Texas Flip and Move cast at dinner the other night. We just happened to eat at the same place and their table was next to ours. They all seemed to be very genuine, down-to-earth people. Their real estate niche is quite different from mine, but you never know what may develop from the industry contacts you make. If a deal were to come up, with the impression I now have of them, I'd love to have them work it with me.
Unfortunately, I did not have any business cards on me (let that be a lesson), but thankfully I did have some humorous $100 bill drop cards with my website and phone number on them that I use to find bird dogs. I was able to hand some of those out and have a few laughs. Our website is under construction, but at least there is something on it in case any of them should take a look.
