I overheard discussions at our meeting Saturday, but did not get to delve into the issue.  But, what I heard was that now no kitchen table closings are permitted in this state as of 9/1/17....  Can anyone enlighten me on that question?  I've searched online and came up with nothing.

Hi Shelia, I dont remember John saying that, can you elaborate about what he was talking about? If you are putting an option on a home and flipping it to a lease option purchaser, you are not closing anything.

No, this is on selling a subject 2 property.  It was not John Jackson, our speaker, who said this; it was John Johnson (I finally remembered who said so.  I should just call him, I suppose.)  Thanks, Chris...

    Sheila,

I'm interested in getting additional info on this as well.  If I own the Deed on a property how can someone make me close with an attorney or title company?

FYI - I always recommend buyer's to close with a title company but I have personally completed many table top closings.
